What does Accredible do well?
Accredible is strong on learner engagement and on the Open Badges standard, and it is widely used by universities, bootcamps and training providers, particularly in the United States. It integrates with the common LMS platforms and supports both badges and certificates. If your priority is course completion rates and re-enrolment campaigns, that is the ground it was built for.
TRUE was built for a different priority: proving a document is genuine without anyone having to phone the issuer, and making the document itself worth sharing.

Why does it matter whether blockchain is the default or an add-on?
Because a verification method only helps if it is present on the document in front of the person doing the checking. When anchoring is optional, the credentials issued before anyone switched it on cannot be checked that way, and a verifier has no way to know which is which. TRUE anchors every document at issue, so the check is the same for all of them.
Blockchain by default, not by upgrade
Every document issued through TRUE carries a SHA-256 hash written to a blockchain, on Ethereum, AVAX, Fantom or Polygon. Change one character in the file and the hash no longer matches the anchored record.
This is not a premium tier. It is how every TRUE credential is issued, which means a verifier gets the same answer whether the document was issued this morning or three years ago.
Credentials that live on your domain
Issue through Accredible and the credential is served from Accredible's domain, so a recipient sharing their certificate links to the vendor.
TRUE serves credentials from your own custom domain. When a graduate adds a diploma to LinkedIn, the link goes to your website, and the visit, the brand impression and the search signal are yours.
How often does an employer check a credential?
Less often than issuers assume, and the gap is measured. Independent UK research finds that most employers have met a false qualification claim, while only about half of the largest ones verify every academic credential they are shown. That is the case for making verification something a recipient can do in one scan rather than something that needs a phone call.
